My husband and I made a quick Thanksgiving trip to my cousin's in Baltimore -- over and back in 25 hours! My cousin-in-law prepared a delicious and bountiful feast for 15. And we threw in Christmas, too, and exchanged presents, since the five families assembled would probably not get together again until next year.
As usual, I am thankful for a wonderful husband, a caring family, a good job, and a happy home. This year I am especially thankful for love and miracles, tiny and immense all at once, while keeping in mind those less fortunate.
