I've been one of the first journalists in the city to cover this big story. This is a once in a lifetime event for Pittsburgh, and has major impact on the geographical delivery of pediatric health care.
Yesterday, all of the city's major media showed up. It felt pretty good to have been on the story already, having packaged the move research, the computer preparations, and last month's table top drill. I was able to incorporate footage from those pieces in my report on Saturday. The great visuals of this first mock move made for a compelling piece (a shout out to news photographer Bryan Orr and video editor Dan Vojtko), and I have video to bank for subsequent reports.
On events where all the media in town show up, I like to check out my colleagues' work, to see how our coverage compares.
Here's the story from the Post-Gazette.

My TV news report was 1:45, conveyed the same information, and you got to see the action (or inaction, as the case was initially).

I have some ideas for future coverage on this. Stay tuned.
